The Recovery Clock is the result of a sister's undying love for her younger brother who suffered from near-fatal alcoholism. This sister, being a woodworker among many other things in life, helped her brother mirror the 12-step program he was in with a clock that meant something to him. Thus, the 1st Recovery Clock was born.

Just like the 12 hours on the face of the clock, so are the 12 steps of recovery. As time passes and we see progress through the 12 steps of Recovery, one day at a time we come to milestones in that journey. What better way to display the tokens we have worked so hard to receive than to place them in a beautiful, hand-crafted work of art?

We are partnering with Howerton's Fine Furniture in Clarksville, Virgina, to create our Recovery clocks. They have 79 years of experience making fine, wood furniture that will be the antiques of tomorrow.
